Shaun Livingston

One word: WOW.

This kid is going to be fantastic, especially if L.A. resigns Sam Cassell.  Keeping Cassell around for a couple more years will allow Livingston to develop under a proven winner.  Plus, maybe Sam-I-Am will help Livingston develop his jumper some.  I’ve already been impressed with his hidden ability to attack the rim.  I watch a ton of games, and there were two times this series where Livingston unleashed dunks at an “I’m Josh Smith” pace.  He turned the corner on a pick-and-roll, and just flat out attacked the rim and threw down a nasty dunk.  Both times, Marcus Camby was in the game.  These were not uncontested dunks, and despite the miles, Camby still rejects young, ambitious dunkers at a ridiculous rate.  However, Livingston was undeterred, and threw down on Camby.  If he can add some more muscle and stay healthy while playing with Cassell, we’re looking at an outrageous talent.

Once again, the list of young absurd talent keeps growing.
