I’m going global with this baby…

Yesterday afternoon, I made the scenic drive through God’s country here in Kentucky to watch my Trinity Tigers defeat the Centre Colonels.  While there, yours truly actually got to do the internet broadcast for the first half.  It was a lot like the celebrity cameos on Monday Night Football, except exactly the opposite.

Last week my picks took a huge hit when I went 4-7-2 leaving me 23-27-6 on the year.  Obviously, I’m an idiot, so I’m taking a much simpler approach; picks and no analysis.  If I’m right, maybe I guessed, maybe I didn’t.  Who knows.  Besides, I’ve got to go to Home Depot today, I don’t know if I’m gonna have time for in depth analysis.

1.  Chargers (-5.5) at CHIEFS
2.  Jaguars (-8) at TEXANS
3.  Patriots (-5.5) at BILLS
4.  Steelers (-3) at FALCONS
5.  Packers (+5.5) at DOLPHINS
6.  Eagles (-6) at BUCCANEERS
7.  Lions (+4) at JETS
8.  Panthers (+3) at BENGALS
9.  Broncos (-4.5) at BROWNS
10.  COLTS (-8.5) v. Redskins
11.  SEAHAWKS (-6.5) v. Vikings
12.  Cardinals (-3) at RAIDERS
13.  COWBOYS (-3) v. Giants

Wow, I almost took every road team this week.  Seriously, I’m not sold on the Seahawks.  I would have taken the Redskins and the points if their entire secondary wasn’t injured.  Oh well, we’ll just have to wait and see how things work out.  Root for the Cowboys everybody.  Even I’m rooting for them now, which pains me a great deal.

I have no idea. I wish that I would have known that I was going to be online for the game. I would have given everybody some heads up about it. All I can say about it right now is that I had a blast calling the game. I just hope I didn’t sound like a bootleg Joe Theisman. Man, that would suck.
