Take that Uncle L
I have been shouting this from the mountaintops for a long time, Tim Duncan is the G.O.A.T (Greatest Of All Time) when talking about power forwards. Considering the fact that Timmy has won four titles in 10 years, and his franchise has been the BEST across all of the major sports for that same period of time, I think that is a pretty compelling argument. I would get into greater detail, but I need to get some work done. Instead, I’ll let the people at realgm.com do it for me. It is a solid article, and you should go here to check it out for yourself.
Timmy, LL Cool J has nothing on you.

Dude, im friken furious now! Tim duncan is not the GREATEST OF ALL TIME for pfs if KEVIN GARNETT was drafted to San Antonio and Tim to Minny it would be the same- San Antonio would own and Minny would suck.– the only reason hes got 4 rings is cuz of his team- look at the whole freakin team- they couldnt do it with out him -but they could have done it with kevin garnett just as well or even better. all im sayin is if KG or Elton Brand or Carlos Boozer or Dirk Nowitski played for San ANtonio they would have almost or as many rings or maybe more than Tim Duncan.—— Go to
http://dimemag.com/2007/06/14/nbas-top-10-power-forwards/ and look at whose #1 and #2 and look at why- if KG had Manu Ginoboli, Tony Parker,Bruce Bownen, Rob Horry- and on and on- EVEN DAVID ROBINSON to help get him started KG would be number 1 — and if Tin Duncan played for Minny im not even sure if he would be #2- he might be as far as 4 or 5- think about it David-
korey
great point “Owner” possibly if Tim Duncan layed for the Timberwolves he would not be as good as he is now. And i know for a fact that if Kevin Garnett played for the Spurs he would be #1- in my opinion Kevin GArnett is the best Right now.
Yes, these are all very good points. As you look at the NBA championships Tim Duncan has taken part of you see that the first 2-out of 4-that’s half- Tim Duncan had had a hall of famer- David Robinson right by his side and Nesterovic( who is still playing) to back him up as well, not to mention the other little guys as “Owner” pointed out such as Bruce Bowen, Manu Ginoboli and Tony Parker(who also are still playing) were also there to help him- help him alot. And as for Kevin Garnett, well he hasn’t had even come close to the talent that Tim Duncan has with him, and everyone knows that. Kevin Garnett has carried the entire team all by himself.
